I hope things are going well for you.  I want to say I appreciate the prayers that you prayed on behalf of our family.  It is never easy to say goodbye to one you love.  The loss of Debis mother has been a hard mountain for her to climb but your prayers have been felt.  We are also very saddened by the loss of our dear friend Dottie Rambo, she will be sadly missed but those great songs will live on.  Please check out my schedule.  I have updated it through November of 2008.  If you or a friend is in driving distance please come out and join us at one of the Revivals, Camp meetings, or Concerts.  I have a new CD that will be available within a few weeks, it will be songs that you have requested.  The title of the project will be Just For You. Thanks so much for your vote for the 2008 SGN Music Award, Songwriter of the year, it was a real honor to win that award.  Also, thanks for voting in the Diamond Awards, those awards will be handed out at the Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY in September.  In closing, Thanks for your prayers for our Ministry.
In the past months we have seen God do some wonderful things and many people saved, to God be the Glory.

Sincerely,
Gerald & Debi Crabb

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GERALD CRABB IMPARTS THE WORD TO THE "BRIDGE Weekly Ministry Shares Jesus With Nashvilles Homeless

Nashville, TN (August 13, 2007) Daywind songwriter, Gerald Crabb, shared the Gospel as part of a growing Nashville ministry called The Bridge Ministry, at their weekly gathering under the Jefferson Street bridge in Nashville, TN, last week. Gerald sang a few of Gospel musics favorite hits including ThroughThe Fire, and also preached a message of hope to The Bridge congregation. Ive been in ministry close to 30 years and Ive never seen anything quite like that. It was incredible, exclaimed Crabb. The Bridge Ministry, started by Candy and Kent Christmas, has witnessed tremendous growth since its inception in 2004. With weekly gatherings of over 200 homeless and an average of 60 volunteers under the bridge in downtown Nashville, there is no better place to praise God. Volunteering with the Bridge Ministry has changed my life and ministry, stated Tara Jackson, a volunteer of The Bridge Ministry. Jesus said, whatever you do unto the least of these, you do unto me, 'and how humbling it is to know that I get to sing, feed, clothe, and minister to Jesus each and every single week. The Bridge Ministry is a full time ministry operated by local volunteers, crafted to serve a hot meal to the homeless people of Nashville and gain the opportunity to share the Gospel of Christ. The Bridge Ministry operates out of an over 17,000 square foot warehouse near downtown Nashville, offering all name brand groceries and clothing items to last through the next weeks service. Gerald Crabbs current CD, Poems, Prayers and Promises, is currently available at stores nationwide through New Day Distribution. For more information on Gerald Crabb, visit www.geraldcrabb.net. The Gospel Greats with host Paul Heil  July 22 & 23

Our Featured Artist on this program, both as a singer and (especially) as a songwriter, was Gerald Crabb. We included a few songs from his current "Roads That I've Traveled" CD. But, as you heard, we also included several songs that he wrote or co-wrote which have been made popular by other artists, such as, on this program, the Talley Trio, Mercy's Mark Quartet, Kevin Spencer & friends, the Crabb Family, the Perrys, the Collingsworth Family, Karen Peck & New River, and others. Gerald has been quite forthright over the years in saying that many of his best songs come from experiences in his own life very difficult times the Lord has brought him through. His song "Through The Fire" is a perfect example. Gerald's testimony, recorded live in concert and included here on the broadcast's second hour, was just too moving not to include.
